Sitting here listening to Dick’s Pick of Englishtown, N.J. (9/3/1977) and SMILING!
Come tomorrow what are these guys gonna do? And the millions of Deadheads? It’s been a great ride. For more than a few years the Grateful Dead were a big part of the soundtrack to my world. The live sets, the crazy scenes around every show, and their amazing collection of albums from my favorite era spanning “Live Dead to “Shakedown Street” (Jerry autographed that record for me). Along the way I experienced close to sixty shows. Thanks guys and fare thee well (“Eyes of the World” is on now!!).
